The machine cleaning of respiratory protective equipment with a validatable process celebrates its tenth birthday with the TopClean Mdisinfection appliance from Meiko - and a real success story. The summary of hundreds of respiratory protective equipment technicians: With the cleaning and disinfection technology from Meiko, there is more safety for respiratory protection wearers, especially from the danger of fire cancer, and also for the personnel in the respiratory protective equipment workshops.

Success inspires. For this reason, Meiko is building up a multi-level product portfolio for the respiratory protective equipment workshops. The TopClean H provides a significant increase in efficiency and performance in the respiratory protective equipment workshop, also thanks to connectivity. In addition to the machine cleaning and disinfection of BA masks in a safe process, the newly developed TopClean D can now also be used for the pre-cleaning of masks, SCBA harnesses, cylinders and pneumatics. 'Soot is hydrophobic and cannot be easily removed under the tap,' explains Riccardo Favara, Global Head of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Division at Meiko. Therefore, coarse dirt is removed in the TopClean D under "high pressure".

TopClean D will make its first official appearance at the Interschutz trade fair in Hannover from 20 - 25 June 2022. 'We will use Interschutz to present ourselves as a solution provider for everything from planning a respiratory protective equipment workshop to disinfected masks,' announces Riccardo Favara. According to Favara, the fact that only automated and validatable processes are effective is an integral part of product development: 'MEIKO has been an integral part of clinics for almost 100 years. Hygiene is not only our business, hygiene is our core competency.'

Fire services can rely on the know-how of the long-established company, from the planning of a respiratory protective equipment workshop to service, consulting on chemicals and validation, and training in the Meiko Academy. It is a matter of course for the value-based company that ergonomics, occupational safety, economy, connectivity and sustainability do not fall by the wayside. Visitors to the Interschutz trade fair in Hanover from 20 - 25 June 2022 can see this and the new products for themselves in Hall 14, Stand J32.
